How do you add more ram to a laptop?
I’m getting a new laptop with 4GB DDR3 ram. It’s running 64-bit vista so it can handle as much as I add. How do I add more ram and how much would it cost to add an extra 1GB or 2GB?
first go to crucial.com and scan your computer, it will tell you the kind of memory you need and how much it will cost. to install ram, you have to open up your computer. it is usually easily accessed form the bottom, by just taking out a few screws, but not all laptops are the same. look for some instructions on youtube or something for your individual laptop.
