What laptop is 13-15inch,fast,has storage,and is under 800 dollars? And where should I buy it from?

This is my first time buying a laptop. I need it to be able to surf the Internet, download music, save pics, be FAST, light, and Stand up against viruses. I had a Dell when I was younger and hated it. Any suggestion? I’m willing to spend up to 1000 if it makes a huge diff.
What about a macbook? I really like the setup.
